There is something about a bookshop that makes you go back again and again. Its so easy to ge lost in the myriad collection of books for hours together. One wanders from 'Biography' to 'Travel' to 'Management' to 'Fiction'. Of late I have started liking to spend my weekend free time in BORDERS.
Grab a grande latte and a cosy corner and u can spend 2-3 hours of world-class thoughts swirling in ur head. I see a copy of Khaled Hossieni's masterpiece 'Kite Runner' on the recommended reading list. Have to find some time for this book very soon.
'Billions of blue blistering barnacles' goes a young blond kid marvelling at Captain Haddock's trademark dialogue from one of Tintin's adventures. I smile and reminisce when I used to do the same many years back.
As I move out of BORDERS with my second cup of coffee I have already fixed up my time for the next weekend to visit my new favourite haunt.
