Keep Looking Up
What do you feel when you look up at the clear night sky?
You look at the stars and take a deep breath and think about the person you love.
You count the number of stars (as far as you can go) just for the heck of it.
You look and close your eyes for while to savour the moment.
You look for solutions for your everyday life issues.
You look and feel humble about your existence.
Well if you dont, start thinking about it. We look up and see only a bunch of stars and dont see the millions of stars in our galaxy, and of course the countless others in the million other galaxies. What are we and what is our significance in the universe? Whoa that is a hard-hitting query and am damn sure any database out there wouldnt be ready to return the results to this query. We dream of big things in life in our short existence. We make friends. We have relationships. We have moments, good and bad. Where does this make a mark in the vast cosmos? Are we just an insignificant speck in the endless space of stars, galaxies, radio signals, satellites ... Well different people may have different perceptions to this.
I guess this 'insignificant' understanding of the self against the cosmos is what makes one strive further to make a mark in the world. Well I say the world is too small. There are other bigger entities in the game.
Check this link out.
Really opens up your perception. Next time you look up have that 'insignificant' feeling envelope you. M i crazy? No, maybe Yes. Anyways do it, trust me its good.
